3. How We Collect Information
We collect information through the following methods:
3.1 Pixel Script
The ProfitPixel pixel is a JavaScript snippet that affiliates embed on their websites. When a consumer visits a page with the pixel installed, the script automatically collects technical and device information, tracks page view events, monitors form interactions (starts, field engagement, submissions, abandons), captures form data upon submission, displays post-submit offers, and records offer impressions and conversions.
3.2 API Submissions
Affiliates may submit lead data to ProfitPixel via our APIs, which transmit consumer information directly to our servers for processing and offer matching.
3.3 Cookies & Browser Storage
We use browser sessionStorage to maintain form state, session context, and analytics data during a consumer's visit to an affiliate website. See Section 10 for additional details on our use of cookies and tracking technologies.
3.4 Analytics Tracking
The ProfitPixel pixel records event-level analytics data, including page views, form starts, form submissions, form abandons, offer impressions, and conversions. This data is transmitted to our servers in real time and is used for reporting, optimization, and fraud detection.
3.5 Third-Party Sources
We may receive information from third-party fraud detection services (such as IPQS) and consent verification services (such as TrustedForm) to validate the quality and authenticity of leads and consumer interactions.
3.6 Direct Submissions
Affiliates provide account information directly to us during registration and through account management interfaces.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Offer Matching & Delivery: To match consumers with relevant third-party offers based on the information they have submitted, including geographic location, inquiry type, and other qualifying criteria.
- Lead Delivery: To transmit consumer information to offer buyers when a consumer accepts or qualifies for a presented offer, via webhooks, APIs, or other delivery mechanisms.

- Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, optimize offer selection algorithms, improve conversion rates, enhance user experience, and develop new features and services.

- Account Management: To manage affiliate accounts, process payments, provide customer support, and communicate with affiliates regarding the Service.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Consent Verification: To verify and document that consumer consent was obtained in accordance with applicable laws, including through TrustedForm certificates.
5. Information Sharing
We share information with the following categories of recipients and for the following purposes:
5.1 Offer Buyers
When a consumer accepts or qualifies for an offer presented through the ProfitPixel platform, we transmit the consumer's form data and relevant qualifying information to the offer buyer (advertiser) for the purpose of fulfilling the consumer's request. Offer buyers are contractually obligated to use consumer data only for the purposes for which it was provided and in compliance with applicable laws.
5.2 Affiliates
We provide affiliates with access to their own lead data, performance analytics, and reporting through the affiliate portal and dashboards. Affiliates can view data related to consumers who interacted with their own websites only.

- Analytics Tools: Aggregated analytics processing.
Service providers are contractually restricted from using personal information for any purpose other than providing services to ProfitPixel.
